But that did not stop our Brothers from Prince Hall Grand Lodge. Mystic Valley Lodge was well-represented by Past Master Philip Privitera and Worshipful Master Adam Crossman. More about the Prince Hall Mystic Cemetery.

MVL supports the Arlington Historical Society
Mystic Valley Lodge has partnered with the Arlington Historical Society to help support it’s collection and the Jason Russell House, site of the bloodiest battle on April 19, 1775, when the British Regulars were on the run back to Boston. (Many of the founding members of Mystic Valley Lodge were veterans of the battles that day.) Our support is acknowledged at the weekly Jason Russell House Concert Series on the lawn. The first event on May 16 was attended by over 600, and continues every Saturday 2-7PM through September 26.

Timothy Sean McGavin Lodge

Mystic Valley in Masonic History, again. Timothy Sean McGavin Lodge (Bilingual Portuguese-English) Founders Dinner. L to R: Mystic Valley Brothers, Payton Privitera and Worshipful Philip Privitera – Charter and Founding Brothers – celebrate with MW Grand Master Timothy S. McGavin, and McGavin Lodge First Worshipful Master RW Sergio Diasis, at the Founders Dinner, of the Timothy Sean McGavin Lodge (March 19, 2026 – STK Steakhouse, Boston).
Pipe Organ Restoration
Starting with a bequest from Wor. Stanley Locke, and generous donations from members of Mystic Valley Lodge and Pequossette Lodge, our beautiful instrument has been restored by the skillful hands of Brett Greene (www.greeneorgan.com) and Richard Nickerson, under the guidance of our Organist, Bro. Jonathan Hindmarsh. Huge thanks to the Arlington Masonic Temple Association and everyone who made this possible. We are truly blessed to have the use of this beautiful instrument for our meetings. MVL Brothers at “Greek Night”

Brothers from Mystic Valley Lodge recently enjoyed “Greek Night” hosted by the Hellenic Square and Compass Club at the Shriner’s Auditorium, in Wilmington, on October 4, 2024. The celebration included live Greek music, dancing, and, of course, lots of fun and Greek food.
The Hellenic Square and Compass Club (HSCC) is an affiliate Masonic body, officially recognized by the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts. Constituted in 1953, the HSCC welcomes Masons of Greek and Non-Greek ancestry alike. Membership is ideal for anyone, Greek or non-Greek, who appreciates Greek Food, Culture and Language, OR for anyone who just wants to have fun surrounded by proud, loving people, while sharing lots of incredible food.
The HSCC boasts Four Quarterly Meetings — NONE of which you will want to miss! All meetings are held at the finest restaurants and have more the resemblance of “holiday dinners” than meetings. The meals have become so elaborate that two each year are, by rule, “open” to spouses, friends and guests! The HSCC has a traveling Degree Team, a Scholarship Fund, and very reasonable Annual Membership Dues. It is worth joining! Our own Mystic Valley Lodge Brother, Payton Privitera, is one of the HSCC’s newest members, and his Dad, Worshipful Philip Privitera, serves on the Board of Trustees.
Memorial Day 2024
