Like all other Massachusetts lodges, Mystic Valley has “gone dark” for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn’t stop our Brothers from sharing fraternal time together.
MVL Angel Fund donation to the East Somerville Community School
Bro. Ted Wilson delivers a $1,000 donation to the East Somerville Community School from the Mystic Valley Lodge Angel Fund. Pictured (left to right) are Carlie Calioro, counselor/educator; Obed Morales, principal; me; Laura Bonnell, Assistant Principal. The funds will provide holiday gifts to 30+children including 3 who just lost everything in a fire.

Wor. Privitera donation in memory of Wor. Donald Norton
On Friday the 13th, December 2019, MVL Past Master Wor. Phil Privitera donated $1,000 to the Little Sisters of the Poor in memory of the life of Donald Norton. Mother Maura and former Somerville Mayor Gene Brune (Little Sisters of the Poor Advisory Board President) received the Donation.
Donald’s favorite Charity was the Little Sisters of the Poor and his last act of Business as Secretary of King Solomon’s Lodge was to motion to make Privitera an Honorary Life Member of the Lodge.
